There are two types of abortion:
A medical abortion is the “Abortion Pill.”
Side effects include cramping, bleeding, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, chills, fatigue, headache, and dizziness. Other side effects can include infection, excessive bleeding, retained fetal tissue, blood clots, and allergic reactions.
A surgical abortion includes surgical instruments to remove the fetus.
Complications include infection, excessive bleeding, damage to the uterine lining, and the cervix. It can also cause you to have fertility problems in the future.
It is illegal to force or coerce someone to have an abortion.

Crossroads does not offer annual exams, birth control devices, mid-life service, abortion services or referral, mammograms or breast screening, in-vitro fertilization services, pre or post-natal care, or treatment of reproductive tract infections. You will receive a referral list of local physicians for continued reproductive care.
